Edina’s first knitwear collection – shown at London Designer Collections, the forerunner of London Fashion Week – was an instant success, with all the important British fashion retailers eager to get hold of the beautiful hand knitted fairisles. By her third collection, Edina’s designs had become a firm favourite and were sold in stores all over the world including Browns, Liberty and Harrods in London, Barney’s and Bloomingdales in New York, and Printemps in Paris.
Her collections received multiple nominations for the prestigious British Fashion Awards throughout the 80s and 90s, confirming her position as a designer with both British heritage and international appeal. A collaboration with "Designers at Debenhams' was one of the department stores most successful for many years, allowing her to bring her designs to a much wider audience.
She has dressed some of the most elegant and beautiful women in the world from Royalty to red carpet stars, including The Princess of Wales, Twiggy, Jerry Hall, Queen Camilla, Nicole Kidman, Scarlett Johansson and Kate Moss, amongst many others.
